The sprawling 11,000 m2 cliff-top 5-star estate of Karang Putih is surrounded by a swath of green foliage and blooming tropical flowers, set amidst a backdrop of the stunning blue Indian Ocean of Uluwatu, Bali.

Uluwatu, Bali

A truly modern luxury home in architecture and design, Karang Putih is located only 18 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport, and within a 20 minutes drive from an international standard golf course, surfing, water skiing, reef fishing & big game fishing. Just below the villa estate a winding road will take you to a pristine white sand beach. One of the most unique aspects of this villa is that it boasts its own licensed helicopter pad serviced by Air Bali.

(Airport transfer from the airport via helicopter is available).

Offering a truly captivating view, this modern villa offers a retreat for those seeking a tranquility escape in total privacy. A stay at Karang Putih can make you feel as if you are on the island alone…in total luxury…

Accommodation

The estate includes three guest buildings: the main house, the pool house, and a private guest house. Two swimming pools, 7 air-conditioned bedrooms, mature tropical gardens, and a breathtaking view are the main highlights of this property. High ceilings and generous proportions of the rooms create the feeling of endless space, accented by the open nature of the structures and the resulting abundance of natural light. All of the rooms and corridors are exquisitely decorated with beautiful & rare antiques from the Asian region.

This exceptionally grand, privately owned villa boasts one of the most breathtaking views and magical setting one can behold. Complimented by the modern architecture and fine furnishings, it makes the ideal vacation home for the discerning visitor who wants to enjoy complete privacy and peacefulness in a luxurious yet comfortable setting.

Breathtaking views

Facilities

Karang Putih has many unique features and facilities. Three of which set it apart from other Bali villas.

The first is that the villa enjoys it's own private beach club with amenities including a plunge pool overlooking pristine clean water protected by a reef.

The seconds is that the estate has a fully qualified chef and a cook to cater for all your dining needs. Your orders are taken in advance and purchased at your cost with no mark up. Thus, your food and beverage costs are the same as what you would pay directly from a supermarket in Bali!

The third is the fully licensed Helipad located on the Estate. Transfers to and from the airport are made easy for guests who wish to take the service. Our affiliation with Air Bali makes it easy to arrange and hire helicopter services for guests. For more information on Air Bali please see the following website: www.airbali.com

Pom Pom Trip

Going to Pom Pom Island Resort tomorrow morning for a promotional shoot with the Scubazoo team. We'll be there till the end of the week.

To get there we'll be flying to Tawau from Kota Kinabalu . We'll then get picked up at the airport and transfered by coach in about one hour to the fishing town of Semporna. From there we will board our speedboat, which will bring us to Pom Pom Island in about 40 minutes.

This will be my 1st trip to Pom Pom and I'm really excited, especially because Pom Pom Island is one of the few islands in Asia where you can witness Green and Hawksbill Turtles emerging from the sea to lay their eggs on the beach. The eggs of these endangered animals are then hatched under care to avoid predators eating them. I hope I get to help release the newly hatched baby turtles back to the sea. The only other time I've experienced that was at Sanggalaki Island a few years back, which was an amazing experience.

I'll be taking my handy little digicam with me and will try to capture some decent shots while I'm there.

Gayana Eco Resort

Went to Gayana Eco Resort in the morning for an all-day photoshoot and filming with Scubazoo. It's for the resort's promotional use.

The villas have been refurbished and is looking very spanky. The seafood restaurant and the spa is still under construction but it's already looking pretty good. My favourite thing about the resort at the moment is the infinity pool. Beautiful.

All in a day's work

So there I was, happily picking seashells from the seashore when Mel Gibson walked by and said hi. I kid you not. He was staying a few doors down from our villa. In fact, that's his villa in the photo. Yes, I was star-struck.big time.
"Freedom!!!" - Braveheart. lol.
